    It’s been ten long years, but I made it!  You see, back in April 2001 I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and told I would not be here to actually sit here and not only write this piece, but I would have never been able to create this website, meet or interview everyone in the boating industry, nor would I have been able to create and offer any of my new products.

So, to celebrate life, I am giving $1 from every sale of my audios, cds and new book to a great organization in Winthrop, MA (where I live) – Survivors by the Sea. This organization is fairly new, made up of strong women (mostly) and a few men who have been through the horrible ordeals of cancer, whether as a patient or caregiver. But, the great thing is that they truly help those newly diagnosed with cancer to get through the treatments and to, well, on the road to recovery.  BTW, it’s a horrible way to join a group.
